Does Re-Lyte spike insulin?
Re-Lyte is lightly sweetened with zero-calorie stevia leaf extract that won’t trigger blood sugar spikes, which can interfere with optimal immune function.
Why is there stevia leaf extract in flavoured Re-Lyte products?
Stevia leaf extract is a zero-calorie natural sweetener that can help balance blood sugar.
Stevia leaf extract is a natural sweetener that we add to our flavoured Re-Lyte products to give them just the right amount of sweetness. We chose stevia leaf extract instead of other natural sweeteners because it’s low-carb, zero-calorie, and has some impressive health benefits.
Stevia leaf extract comes from the leaves of the Stevia rubidian plant, which is native to Paraguay and Brazil (although today, most stevia is grown in China). While other sweeteners cause your blood sugar to spike, research shows that stevia not only keeps your blood sugar stable but may even lower it.
Flavoured Re-Lyte products contain rebaudioside A, a type of stevia leaf extract that’s less bitter (and we think much tastier) than other stevia leaf extracts. It’s also one of the most widely studied forms of stevia, which means we have a solid collection of data that proves it’s safe and effective.
Why did the serving size of Re-Lyte change?
When Redmond improved their Re-Lyte formula, they had to change the serving size of their flavoured varieties slightly.
You may have noticed that the serving size of their flavoured Re-Lyte varieties is a little different than it used to be. The serving size of flavoured Re-Lyte used to be 6.5 grams and now it varies between 6.2 and 6.8 grams depending on the flavour. Why?
When they improved their Re-Lyte formula to make it easier to mix and calorie-free, they found that they needed to adjust the amount of citric acid in each flavour slightly to get the taste just right. Citric acid has a tangy, citrusy flavour that helps Re-Lyte taste great. The flavoured varieties with a slightly larger serving size just contain a tad more citric acid.
Their Unflavoured Re-Lyte doesn’t contain citric acid (or any other flavouring ingredients), so it still has the same serving size it did previously.
Why calcium carbonate?
Calcium carbonate makes Re-Lyte easier to mix and calorie-free. Because it’s combined with citric acid, taking calcium carbonate in Re-Lyte isn’t the same as taking it by itself. More information on the changes , please find here
Where is Re-Lyte made?
Like all Redmond products, Re-Lyte Hydration is produced in world-class clean room facilities in the United States. The facility that produces Re-Lyte Hydration regularly exceeds the standards for certification. You can view the relevant production licenses and certificates online.
What does the Ancient Sea Salt do?
One of the most important ingredients in all their Re-Lyte varieties is their unrefined, ancient sea salt, Real Salt. They included Real Salt in Re-Lyte because it’s a healthy, natural source of electrolytes, especially sodium and chloride.
Is Re-Lyte fizzy? Bubbly? Carbonated?
No, Re-Lyte doesn’t fizz or foam like carbonated beverages or effervescent drink mixes.
Please note that the sachets may occasionally solidify. This is due to the solidification of the natural juices and moisture from the air. This does not affect the safety or effectiveness of this product.

Directions: Add one stick of Re-Lyte to 16-18 oz of cold water, shake or mix well before drinking.
PRO-TIP: once you've added the water, let it sit for at least 30 seconds, then shake again for another 10 seconds so that it fully dissolves. You might notice some leftover sediment that haven't dissolved, that's just trace minerals that won't dissolve in water, but are safe and beneficial to consume. We all have different hydration needs so please feel free to add more or least water.
Prefer a little more or less flavour? Trust your body! Redmond recommend sticking to 1 to 3 servings per day of Re-Lyte depending on your body and lifestyle. How much you exercise, the climate you live in, if you have health issues that cause vomiting or diarrhea, if you're pregnant or nursing, along with a variety of other factors will all influence whether your electrolyte needs fall on the higher or lower end of that spectrum.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
