MegaSporeBiotic PLUS is a probiotic blend of 4 Bacillus spores that have been clinically shown to maintain healthy gut barrier function and overall immunity. The bi-phasic life cycle of the Bacillus spores allows them to remain dormant in harsh environments until they reach more favourable environments like the human gastrointestinal tract. Once inside the large intestine, these dormant spores can change into their active, vegetative forms and begin colonizing in the gut. This unique probiotic blend aims to RECONDITION the gut instead of reseeding with probiotic strains that cannot survive digestion or colonize the gut. Survival: Unlike traditional probiotics that hardly survive digestion, spore-based probiotics enjoy a 100% survival rate allowing them to make it to the lower GI tract and colonise the intestines where the majority of beneficial bacteria reside.
Durability: Bacillus spores are able to withstand harsh environments and treatments, unlike other more fragile bacteria. The rugged endospore coating allows the bacteria to withstand extreme heat, cold, pressure, acid conditions, lack of oxygen and even radiation.
No Refrigeration Required: Bacillus spores are dormant life forms that can exist in a desiccated environmeny and be stored un-refrigerated, without affecting their viability. Due to this bi-phastic life cycle there will always be the same number of Colony Forming Units (CFUs) of Bacillus spores at the time of the manufacture and at the expiry date of the product.
Microbiome Diversity: Spores increase the richness and diversity of the gut microbiome, enhancing the proliferation of probiotic organisms such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, which are hard to effectively supplement due to their fragility.
Overcrowding: Rugged spore-based probiotics inhibit the proliferation of unwanted organisms by competitive elimination using quorum sensing. Once the Bacillus spores start to recondition the gut, there is a much lower chance of unwanted organisms being able to colonise.

Dosing Instructions: Start with 1/2 capsule or 1 full capsule with food and slowly increase to 2 capsules per day using the following protocol.
Week 1: 1 capsule every other day
Week 2: 1 capsule daily
Week 3+: 2 capsules daily
If 1 capsule every other day is too strong, try starting with 1/2 capsules or even 1/4 capsule in some cases. Possible symptoms may include abdominal cramping, loose stools, and changes in bowel movements. Though these symptoms may be uncomfortable, they are a sign that the product is working! Symptoms should resolve within 2-3 days.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
