Cytoplan's Fos-A-Dophilus utilises GUARD technology; a patented, innovative and natural technology proven to protect the bacterial strains from stomach acid and enable the timed release of the probiotics within the intestines.
It is a high potency, active probiotic supplement containing six strains of live probiotics, providing four billion bacteria per capsule. Contains specially cultivated strains which are stable at room temperature and active throughout the whole GI tract.

- GUARD technology is a patented, innovative and natural technology proven to protect the bacterial strains from stomach acid and enable the timed release of probiotics within the intestines
- The capsule is administered orally. As it reaches the stomach, a gel barrier forms to protect the active ingredient from the stomach’s acidity. Once in the intestines, the gel dissipates to ensure a controlled release of the active ingredients which maximises the product’s efficacy at the ideal site of action
When should you take this probiotic supplement?
- Fos-A-Dophilus is particularly recommended for people over 40 years of age as it is higher in Bifidobacteria, which colonise the large intestine and are less easily replenished in those over the age of 40. For younger adults we generally recommend Cytoplan's ‘Acidophilus Plus’ supplement
- This product is ideal for long or short-term use, for acute gut issues or daily maintenance
- The capsule form of this product makes it ideal for travelling or taking on holiday

Ingredients: Bifidobacterium longum (RO175), Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Lactobacillus animalis ssp lactis (lafti® B94), Bifidobacterium breve (HA-129), Bifidobacterium infantis (ROO33), Lactobacillus acidophilus (RO418), potato starch, NutraJIT® (GUARD technology), plant cellulose (capsule shell).
Suggested Intake: 1-2 capsules daily as a food supplement. This can be taken at any time of day with or without food or as advised by your medical practitioner.
For travel: Start taking Acidophilus Plus for at least 7 days prior to the start of your journey. During travel take the recommended daily dose, and continue to do so for at least 7 days following the end of your travels.
Suitable for: Vegetarians, vegans and people with Candida, yeast and lactose sensitivities.

Non-Active Ingredients: Potato starch, NutraJIT® (GUARD technology), plant cellulose (capsule shell).
Non GM & Free From: GMO, wheat, soy, added sugar, flavourings & colourings. Fos-A-Dophilus has been analysed and no dairy proteins are present.

An Overview of Returns and Refunds
Unless faulty, you can only return a product if unopened, unused and with the original seals, packaging or tags intact. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to issue a refund for a supplement that your pet doesn't like or doesnt agree with them. All animals are unique with their own likes and dislikes.
You can return an unwanted item for a full refund (including minimum postage costs you could have chosen when placing your order) within 14 days of receiving it. You must notify us of your intention to cancel the order and you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us.
When returning an item, please ensure you take reasonable care as any damage in transit will result in us being unable to refund part or all of the money that you have paid. You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item to us. Refunds are typically processed within 2 days of receipt of a returned item, but under certain circumstances, such as busy /holiday periods, your refund may take longer to process. The 14- day limit to request a refund does not apply to any item which is faulty, unfit for purpose, or not as described at the time you placed the order. For damaged and faulty items, you have 30 days to contact us. We will cover the cost of these returns and once received will process a full refund.
