How to use Organyc Applicator Tampons
Change your cotton tampon every 4 to 8 hours. Use the lowest level of absorbency to meet your needs.
What You Should Know
My pads and tampons are made of what?
Many well-known, nationally-advertised conventional brands of tampons, pads and panty liners are made of mostly synthetic materials, such as rayon. Feminine pads from many of the best known brands also contain something called SAPs, which stands for Super Absorbent Powders. While doing their job to absorb better, SAPs are made from polymers that are derived from crude oil. Think how close those SAPs will be to you.
Tampons and pads often contain wood pulp, better known as cellulose, it’s not what you’d expect but that’s what you’re probably using. Wouldn’t you prefer cotton?
Bleached? Did you say they’re bleached?
Yes. Many well-known brands are made with material that is bleached with chlorine. Chlorine bleaching leaves a by-product: dioxin, so women may be exposed to small but detectable levels of this known toxin whenever they use pads and tampons that are chlorine bleached.
Organ(y)c use 100% organic cotton
Unlike most feminine care brands, Organyc is made with only 100% organic cotton. Organyc products contain no synthetics, no SAPs and no wood pulp/cellulose and for good hygiene, we only use hydrogen peroxide, a naturally occurring disinfectant, to bleach the cotton.

Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that reduce the impact on the environment and preserve the natural equilibrium between the many components of the ecosystem. Organic agriculture endeavors to work in harmony with nature, producing healthy plants for healthy people, for example, organic farming uses bio-rational products and bio-control agents for pest management.
Organic certification is the public’s assurance that products have been grown and handled according to strict, safe procedures.
Environmentally Friendly
All Organyc outer packaging comes from renewable or recycled materials. The outer wrap and backing for pads and liners are made from Mater-bi which is created from corn starch.
Organyc feminine care products are biodegradable, because they can be broken down into simpler substances by bacteria and microorganisms. Their own lab tests have proven the biodegradability of Organyc pads and tampons.
